Why we started it
The smallest businesses have the hardest time getting online, and most of the tools built for them are really built for someone much bigger. A café with four tables does not need a content management system. It needs to be findable.
So the first step was a Telegram bot: a shared directory of local places that anyone can add to. It grew out of Portugal's tech community and was incubated at VilaWork.
